Salaried GP opportunity at Stoke Road Surgery

We are a well-established training practice (training GPs, medical students and nurses) on the outskirts of Cheltenham, serving a semi-rural population of over 10,700 patients.

Our supportive team includes 6 partners, 1 salaried GP, 3 practice nurses (including a nurse manager), 2 healthcare assistants, a GP assistant and a phlebotomist.

Our GPs’ interests include dermatology, women’s health, diabetes and gastroenterology.
Routine surgeries are 12 patient contacts
We offer regular scheduled meetings for salaried GPs with a GP partner to ensure that any problems should they arise can be tackled early, and listen to feedback.
We are a happy and cohesive partnership and pride ourselves on a culture of learning, high standards and mutual support.
We have a daily coffee meeting, and feed back learning to each other on a regular basis, in addition to our in house training sessions.
We are in a well-established network of 5 practices (Cheltenham Peripheral)

We are offering:
• 4-8 sessions (but please contact us anyway if you may be interested in more or fewer)
• Salaried job or partnership (or salaried with a view to partnership)
• All GPs have 6 weeks annual leave plus 2 weeks study leave plus an extra day’s leave to celebrate your birthday, in addition to CPD built in to the working day and practice learning afternoons
• TPP SystmOne, with Ardens, EPS, and Anima triage

We are looking to appoint one or more doctors for 4-8 sessions each.
