Partnership Opportunity – The Stoke Road Surgery

Join our friendly training practice

• Full time partner (6 clinical sessions)

• We are a well-established training practice on the outskirts of Cheltenham, serving a semi-rural population of around 10,500 patients.

• Our supportive team includes 5 partners, 2 salaried GPs, 3 practice nurses (including a nurse manager), 1 healthcare assistant, a practice pharmacist, and a phlebotomist.

• Our GPs’ interests include dermatology, women’s health, and gastroenterology.

• Routine surgeries are up to 12 face to face appointments

• We use Anima for triage

• We are a happy and cohesive partnership and pride ourselves on a culture of learning, high standards and mutual support. We have a daily coffee meeting, and feed back learning to each other on a regular basis, in addition to our in house training sessions.

• As a result, we are a happy team in which colleagues feel valued and supported.

• We are in a well-established network of 5 practices (Cheltenham Peripheral)

• We have ARRS pharmacy technicians, GP Assistant, ageing well nurse and pharmacists

• All GPs have 6 weeks annual leave plus 2 weeks study leave in addition to CPD built into the working day and practice learning afternoons

• TPP SystmOne, with Ardens, Anima, EPS, and cloud based telephony

• Applicants will be eligible for support through the “Be a GP Partner in Gloucestershire” scheme

• We are seeking an enthusiastic, reliable GP partner who is keen to join our already committed and cohesive team, and who would be interested in a long-term career with us. We are looking for someone to help us think innovatively about how to provide GP services in the future
