The LMC Staff and Executive Committee exist to provide continuity of effort and support to all GPs and practices in Gloucestershire. They meet monthly and address issues which cannot wait until the bi-monthly LMC meeting.

They also attend monthly negotiator meetings with the Gloucestershire Integrated Care Board and regular meetings with Gloucester Health and Care Trust; Gloucestershire Hospitals Health Trust; Care Quality Commission; and NHS England.

The Executive comprises 2 officers who are re-elected every 2 years, 2 Medical Executives and the Chief Executive Office, supported by a senior administrator and General Practive Information Officer. The current elected officers are in post until March 2027.
