Job summary
We are seeking, a diligent and inspirational Strategic Business Manager to join our senior leadership team. Reporting to the Managing Partners and accountable to the Senior Partner, the Strategic Business Manager will provide leadership, direction, and accountability across all aspects of practice operations, including finance, workforce, governance, estates, service delivery, and organisational development.
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced leader to influence the future direction of a progressive and growing organisation, ensuring the practice continues to deliver exceptional patient care while remaining financially sustainable, operationally effective, and responsive to the evolving needs of our population.
Main duties of the job
The Strategic Business Manager provides strategic leadership and operational oversight across all areas of practice management, ensuring the delivery of safe, effective, and sustainable services. The role is responsible for leading the management team and overseeing practice performance, financial management, NHS contractual compliance, governance, risk, workforce planning, estates, and patient services. Working closely with the Partners, the postholder develops and delivers the practice strategy, drives continuous improvement, ensures regulatory compliance, and promotes a positive organisational culture. The role also represents the practice within the wider health system, building strong partnerships to support service development, innovation, and improved patient outcomes while championing equality, diversity, and inclusion throughout the organisation.
