Job Description

We are looking for an enthusiastic, conscientious, and motivated GP to work 4-6 sessions per week. The role involves a variety of duties including face to face consultations, telephone consultations and queries, checking and signing off repeat prescriptions and dealing with queries, patient test results, patient medical reports and examinations on behalf of the practice, referral letters NHS/private, paperwork and correspondence. Duty doctor and extended access clinics on a pro rata basis with good colleague support.

Situated in Dursley, on the edge of the Cotswolds, midway between Gloucester and Bristol, May Lane Surgery is a friendly surgery serving approximately 10,000 patients.
We are a 3 partner Surgery with a comprehensive team including reception, nursing and managerial staff, and an enthusiastic ARR team.

We have recently been awarded a Teaching Practice award by the University of Bristol in recognition of the practice’s outstanding contribution to undergraduate medical training.
