We are a friendly and caring GP Practice in Cheltenham, seeking a GP Assistant to join our team. This role combines both clinical and administrative responsibilities, supporting the smooth running of our practice while delivering excellent patient care.

As part of our multidisciplinary team, which includes GPs, ACPs, nurses, clinical pharmacist, HCAs, and phlebotomists, you will play a vital role in ensuring high-quality care for our patients. We are looking for a compassionate and dedicated individual who thrives in a collaborative environment. The ideal candidate will be adaptable, accountable, and work within the boundaries of their role while adhering to practice guidelines and protocols.

St Catherine’s Surgery is part of the Inspire Group, a dynamic network of five general practice surgeries working across three of Gloucestershire’s Primary Care Networks (PCNs) – TWNS, South Cotswolds, and St Paul’s PCN. Inspire is led by five dedicated GP Partners, committed to providing exceptional healthcare to our local communities.

Key Responsibilities:

Clinical Duties:
• Phlebotomy & ECGs
• Health checks and long-term condition reviews
• Flu vaccinations
• Assisting the GPs and ANPs with sexual health clinics
• Ensuring compliance with infection control policies and CQC requirements

Administrative Duties:

• Maintaining accurate patient records and supporting general practice workflow

If you are a proactive team player with strong communication skills and a passion for patient care, we would love for you to join our supportive, multidisciplinary team in a well-established practice where patient care is at the heart of everything we do. You’ll be part of a nurturing and vibrant environment, working alongside experienced professionals dedicated to delivering high-quality healthcare.

Full training provided – applications welcome from both experienced candidates and those new to the role.
